Together we are stronger.
Last Sunday, I supported my friends in a peace demonstration against BSL (breed specific legislation) targeting “dangerous” dog breeds (who decides this?).
We walked side by side as everyone was chanting and barking. Nothing went wrong. No fights, no problem. A lot of policemen, but no intervention.
This walk was organised by The non-profit organization Protection Pit Bulls and i can say that i had a blast !! It was by far the biggest peace demonstration i was part of ! (Ok… it’s was the first one i was part of.. but still !)
I got to walk with Caro all day long ’cause Jo was running around taking all the pictures. I wish i could’ve ran with him ! Every time he’d get close to us, i’d run towards him yelling “WAIT FOR ME ! I’M GOOD AT RUNNING !” but <a href=”https://www.instagram more information.com/carodenis100/” target=”_blank”>Caro kept pulling me back, saying it wasn’t safe.
I also got to see the dog God (apparently). He was pushed around in his royal stroller and looked very calm.
Guess what ! I saw June and Charlot ! Jo says they’re exactly my kind, only younger. They are SMALL ! I don’t know why, i have a deja vu feeling.
As you can see in the photos below, it was a HOT day. No clouds, full front sunshine. So we had to stop several times ’cause i was so THIRSTY ! Thank god at the end of the walk, there was water spitting out of the floor and into the air ! I tried to catch every drop, but most of it fell on the ground. But i can tell ya, it was refreshing !
I really hope things get back to normal soon. A lot of my friends are scared and sad. Word in the park is that they’re talking about MORE restrictions mostly on my Pit Bull friends. As if we don’t have enough boundaries and “rules”…
Anyways, gotta run! It’s almost time for the noon bells and i need to go howl at those !
